Introduction

SN-1330 and SN-1430 arecationic polymer derived from nature guar bean. They are widely used as conditioner, viscosity modifier, static reducer and lather enhancer in personal care products.

SN-1330 and SN-1430 have medium viscosity and medium charge density. They are compatible with most common anionic, cationic and amphoteric surfactants and are ideally suitable for use in two-in-one conditioning shampoos and moisturizing skin cleansing products. When used in personal cleansing formulations, SN-1330 and SN-1430 impart a soft, elegant after-feel to the skin and also enhance wet comb and dry comb properties to shampoos and hair conditioning systems.

Suggested Use Level
 

Cleansing formulations: 0.1% ~ 0.5%
Conditioning formulations: 0.2% ~ 0.8%


Recommended Use Direction

SN-1330 and SN-1430 are cold water dispersible.
SN-1330 is self-hydrating in water and does not require acidification during use.
With good agitation, slowly add SN-1330 powder into room temperature water. Mix for 15~20 minutes, the system will thicken as it hydrates in the water.
For SN-1430, please follow below dissolving procedure.
Disperse SN-1430 into room temperature water with good agitation. Mix for about 5 minutes.Adjust pH to around 5 with citric acid.Continue mixing for 30~45 minutes or until SN-1430 is fully hydrated and dissolved.
Storage and Handling

SN-1330 and SN-1430 should be stored in a cool, dry location away from heat, sparks or fire.
When not in use, the container should be kept closed to prevent moisture and dust contamination.
We recommend that normal precautions be taken to avoid ingestion or contact with eyes. Respiratory protection should be used to avoid dust inhalation. Good industrial hygiene practices should be followed.
